Revisiting rescattering contributions to $$ \overline{B} $$(s) → $$ {D}_{(s)}^{\left(\ast \right)}M $$ decays

A bstract Motivated by the reported discrepancies between experimental data and Standard Model predictions for branching ratios of color-allowed decays $$ \overline{B} B ¯ 0 → D (*)+ K − {\overline{B}}_s^0 s 0 {D}_s^{\left(\ast \right)+}{\pi}^{-} D ∗ + π − , we study final-state rescattering effects on ( s ) {D}_{(s)}^{\left(\ast \right)}P P V where P is a light pseudoscalar (vector) meson. We consider quasi-elastic rescatterings in framework SU(3) U(3) flavor symmetries, find that cannot explain measured color-suppressed simultaneously. also perform global fits to data, allowing new physics contributions Wilson coefficient 1 associated with tree amplitudes. It shown prefer downward shift \mathcal{O} O (10%) even presence contributions.
